1/ To prevent wicking of fluids, the cut ends of the fire protective sleeve (code A) shall be coated with Room Temperature Vulcanized (RTV) silicone rubber prior to installation. After installation, cracks and voids in the fire protective sleeve shall be coated with RTV rubber to prevent exposure of fiberglass.
