3.3 Physical requirements.
3.3.1 Burst pressure. Hose shall not burst at any pressure below that specified in table X when tested in accordance with ASTM D380.

3.3.2 Durometer hardness. Hose durometer shall be as specified in table I when tested in accordance with ASTM D2240.
3.3.3 Tensile strength and elongation. Hose tensile strength and elongation shall be as specified in table I when tested in accordance with ASTM D412.
3.3.4 Resistance to heat. Hose resistance to heat shall be as specified in table I when tested in accordance with ASTM D573. Hose shall be aged for 72 hours at 350°F.
3.3.5 Resistance to oil. Hose resistance to oil shall be as specified in table I when tested in accordance with ASTM D471. Hose shall be immersed in test liquid IRM 903 for 72 hours at 212 °F.
