DETAIL SPECIFICATION
HOSE ASSEMBLIES, ELASTOMERIC, HYDRAULIC, FUEL, AND
OIL RESISTANT, GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for hose assemblies, elastomeric, hydraulic,
fuel, and oil resistant.
1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The PIN consists of the letters MS, the basic specification
number, a dash, a number for the hose inside diameter (ID), and three numbers for the hose assembly
length.
